Baja Luna Featured on Green Wedding Shoes: A Modern Garden Wedding in Cabo
We’re honored to be featured on Green Wedding Shoeswith Nina and Adam’s stunning destination wedding - an event that perfectly captures the spirit of Baja Luna.
After years of traveling to Cabo - including the trip where Adam proposed - Nina and Adam knew there was no better place to bring their favorite people together. Set against Baja Luna’s clean architectural lines and surrounding desert landscape, their wedding weekend felt both intentional and effortlessly connected to its environment.
A Design That Let the Setting Lead
Rather than following tradition, Nina approached the design with a fresh perspective leaning into something playful, unexpected, and personal. The result was a modern garden aesthetic grounded in a sage green palette, soft neutrals, and airy textures. Instead of overwhelming the space, every detail was carefully considered to complement the venue.
It’s a perfect example of what we always encourage at Baja Luna: When the setting has strong character, the design can feel refined without excess.
A Ceremony Defined by Texture & Simplicity
Inside the chapel, the ceremony design became a true focal point. A structured backdrop of sage green drapery, paired with low, organic florals in soft whites and greenery, created a look that felt both minimal and striking. The proportions, materials, and natural light were allowed to speak for themselves resulting in a ceremony that felt modern, balanced, and deeply intentional.
A Celebration Centered Around Experience
As the sun began to set, guests transitioned into a poolside cocktail hour, setting the tone for an evening that felt relaxed and immersive.
Dinner unfolded with long tables dressed in sage linens, layered with modern glassware, soft florals, and subtle candlelight creating an atmosphere that felt warm, inviting, and effortlessly elevated.
Every detail was approached with restraint and intention, proving that a wedding doesn’t need to be overdesigned to feel impactful. Instead, the focus remained on flow, comfort, and the guest experience - a philosophy that defines every celebration at Baja Luna.
A Reflection of Baja Luna
This feature is a reflection of what makes Baja Luna unique: a venue that offers both a strong architectural foundation and the flexibility to bring any vision to life.
As planner Martha Ayala shared, choosing a venue with character allows couples to simplify their design while still achieving a polished, elevated result.
At Baja Luna, that balance comes naturally.
